What this [resulted] in is a 10% improvement in the 0 to 60 mph time to 2.8 secs and a quarter mile time of 10.9 secs.

It’s a US$5k battery upgrade to the flagship Model S, the P85D. That may sound like a lot but if you can afford one in the first place I seriously doubt another $5k is about to break the bank.

I’m no gear-head but if there was ever a car I wanted this is it!
